God could not be there with every child,

So He made You, Mum.

You brought a 'Bundle of Joy' into the world

And loved it like no other one.

 

You wiped my nose, You cleaned my bums,

You sang me lullabies.

You did not sleep in the night

Just to soothe my wails and cries.

 

U somehow knew when I was feeling blue

And was hiding things in a guise.

But You let me have my so-called space

Till I asked You to advise.

 

Sometimes I argued with You

And went against Your wish

But the moment I said, "I'm hungry, Maa," You dashed off

To make my favourite dish.

 

When I was a kid and thought I had become wise

I did not go by Your way

But now that I'm going to start my own life, I think

"Maa, won't You teach me, just 1 more day?"

 

I pulled out an old, worn-out photograph and I saw

Your smile when You were a sweet, young girl.

How beautiful You looked, Maa! And that snap,

Even more priceless than diamonds or pearls!

 

That snap brought back some faded memories,

And You don't look like that anymore.

But Your smile has become sweeter by the day

More and more and more.

 

Now wipe Your tears, hold my hand

And listen to what I have to say

I love u a lot, Maa!

When starting a blog...

Firstly, let me thank all those who contributed to the huge traffic associated with my previous post. That post generated over 200 page visits in less than 3 days, 6 new followers and a total of 32 comments(on other posts as well). An all time high for my blog, till date. ;)

Also after that post many of my friends started asking for tips when starting a blog. So I decided to write down aaalllllll my experiments which I've tried on my blog.

Proxies-The Lifeline of the Class

Just as we attain puberty after a certain age, in a similar manner we develop an uncanny tendency of not attending classes for weird reasons-be it sleep deprivation, playing, dating..... (It's really endless!!!)

Well, I won't say that these matters are not important. Actually, I happen to recall famous lines for each of these reasons-

• 
  
  We should have at least 8 hours of sleep. (These lines were taught to us in primary education!)
  
• 
  
  All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. (Apparently, people other than Jack have the same problem.)
  
• 
  
  Love is life-and what is life without love!
  

So the reasons as to why a student is unable to attend classes seem pretty important. But if only the college management would go by the thought process of a student-all would be well. However, the reality is that every college imposes the dreaded 75% Attendance Rule and has termed "not attending classes" as bunking. Zeesh! What a horrible thing to do to make the leaders of tomorrow sound as cheap shots.

A funny thing happened with this no that has haunted n also amused many souls. What apperently happens when u call up this no is that a girl receives ur call with a very normal "Hello" and waits a couple of seconds for ur reply. Then she breaks into an outburst as to why u r irritating her by ur calls n the horrible msgs u sent her and threatens u that she would call her brother n tell him everything, which she does also in a few moments. Then the 'bhai'  enters the scene n says that u r in big trouble n asks for ur name and so on. But how come the same msg each time?? N that too with the same dialogues.

So here's what actually happens-
