9371272497 - The Haunting No.

A funny thing happened with this no that has haunted n also amused many souls. What apperently happens when u call up this no is that a girl receives ur call with a very normal "Hello" and waits a couple of seconds for ur reply. Then she breaks into an outburst as to why u r irritating her by ur calls n the horrible msgs u sent her and threatens u that she would call her brother n tell him everything, which she does also in a few moments. Then the 'bhai'  enters the scene n says that u r in big trouble n asks for ur name and so on. But how come the same msg each time?? N that too with the same dialogues.

So here's what actually happens-
This entire thing has been recorded with enough pauses for u too speak, apt dialogues and  little background noise which gives it a more real feel and put on someone's voice mailbox(VMB). In case u haven't waited long enough when u called up this no, it ends saying that the user's voice mailbox is full. A VMB is actually a computer that acts as an answering machine for a large group of people requiring a box no n password-the same system for phones as email is to computers. Without the password u can leave msgs on the VMB just as u did in this case. If u recall when u called up that no the fone never rang, it automatically routed u to the VMB and instead of the regular "Hi its so n so. Plz leave a msg" kind of a msg u r greeted with the prank msg.

Although I wasn't caught in this prank(wasn't tried upon actually-WOW!!!) the few things that may have led to someone catching that it was a prank being played on them would be as follows:

1. The phone not ringing at all. 
2. As the case was in our college-the large no of people around the caller laughing their wits out while the caller is in a rage arguing with the girl b sply the bhai.
3. Although the chances for this r less, would be that u not getting synchronized with the msg n pausing when the msg stops n speaking when u r not supposed to.
4. However, the chances for this to happen is quite a lot when a lot of people r roaming around the college with the same prank up their sleeves. U already knowing the entire story so u can fool the person u actually tried to fool u! Funny situation.
5. This would be applicable to girls only-as this msg is in hindi and tuned as if the conversation is going on with a boy. 
6. Lastly, it would be that u were given this no out of the blue on a date very close to April Fool's Day. 

But still most people fell for it, went mad at first and also enjoyed it at the end. On the whole it was fun. Plz leave ur comments! Happy pranking n happy april fool's day to all!!!
