God could not be there with every child,
So He made You, Mum.
You brought a 'Bundle of Joy' into the world
And loved it like no other one.
You wiped my nose, You cleaned my bums,
You sang me lullabies.
You did not sleep in the night
Just to soothe my wails and cries.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

For the past 2 days I had been keeping myself busy with the making of the college video-"Wo bhi kya din the."
This video, originally thought up by my friend, Ashutosh Nath way back in August 2009 was supposed to be a small scale video involving only the CSE students of our batch and was supposed to be shot by his little handycam. But after that Ashutosh himself suffered some health problems but that didn't kill his spirit and will to make this video successful. In fact, the final version of the video has been shot with a professional high definition camera by professionals, the cast includes biggies like Samanta sir and M.N.Das sir (Ashutosh Nath also :P), all artists had worn make-up which was again done professionally and video includes students from all branches. Great job man! I think ur patience is well rewarded. I still remember the day when he had told me his idea. It was his birthday-24 Aug. N till then I was the 3rd person to know about his upcoming plan, 2nd being Anurag Patra. I was a bit depressed on that day n there were some reasons due to which I didn't want to be part of the video but still I would help and support him in any other manner possible. Dude, hope I have fulfilled my promise! :)

The last post dealt with Kakuros, a very popular kind of puzzle which many people were unaware of. N that is why i had it included in this year's KHOJ (Vasco-de-Gamea). However, there was another very interesting type of puzzle which i had contributed-the REBUS. And yet another 1, this time contributed by Kaushallendra-the ILLUSION TREE

Kakuro is a kind of logic puzzle in which that is often referred to as a mathematical transliteration of the crossword. A sample kakuro is shown below. The numbers in the lower half stand for the squares below it and those in the upper half stand for the squares to its right.
I had received this email long back... but there was no better time to post it than today- as today is the day when TCS visits KIIT campus to recruit us for our future in the corporate world (at 8 am.. :P). Although this post goes as a joke on TCS, still here's me, Anitesh Singh wishing everyone out there in KIIT(and beyond also) the very best for his/her future!
